COVID-19 VOLUNTEER UPDATE (7/1): Due to the pandemic, our office is currently closed to the public and all volunteer opportunities must be scheduled in advance. This page is updated regularly, so please check back for future opportunities.
All volunteer shifts are currently being offered by appointment only. The following are the current volunteer opportunities available at this time:
-Office Organization & Filing
-Clerical Work (Envelope Stuffing)
-Garage Cleanout (Furniture Moving & Cleaning)

*Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Minors 16 and over may volunteer alone with a parental release.
Once we receive your information, you will be entered into our volunteer database. You will then be contacted to schedule a volunteer shift should our needs match your availability.
Volunteers play an essential role in helping families experiencing homelessness attain sustainable independence.
The following are some of the types of volunteer opportunities available at Family Promise of Orange County:
Providing a meal for our families
Volunteering to stay overnight at one of our host churches
Helping with upcoming fundraising events
Providing a service for our families (financial literacy training, meal planning, resume help, etc.)

All volunteers are required to undergo volunteer training and a background check. Training sessions are held several times a year.
