Send a Child to Summer Camp!

Family Promise Orange County is partnering with Lightening Youth Academy to send 20 individuals in our programs to a sleep away summer camp in August! This is a unique opportunity for children and parents to partake in exciting and fun activities such as swimming, crafts, movie nights, mindfulness exercises, exploring nature through sports and running.
We need your support in funding campers! $300 covers transportation, lodging, meals and activities. Please consider funding a camper today!
On 7/28/26 there will also be a Fun-raiser held at Iglesia de Todos Los Dias Church in Orange where all proceeds will help fund camp for children!

Back to School Supply Assembly Event

We are collecting Back to School supplies throughout the summer to distribute to our families in August! Want to be part of the backpack assembly team? We will be hosting a volunteer event on August 13th 3-4pm to assemble backpacks full of supplies needed for starting school!
We are currently taking items meant for all ages:
- Backpacks (all colors/styles/themes)
- Lunch boxes
- Markers
- Pencils
- Pencil bags/cases
- Notebooks
- Binders
